How Learning Works

A repeatable learning cycle built around practical situations.

The platform uses a consistent structure so learners know what they are practising and why each activity is included.

01

Review a scenario

Begin with a realistic digital workplace situation and identify what is unclear, incomplete or difficult to continue.

02

Learn a focused method

Read a concise explanation of one practical approach rather than a broad software feature tour.

03

Complete the activity

Edit a document, reorganise information, revise a message or structure a recurring task.

04

Review your decisions

Compare the result with criteria and examples, then note what you would change in a similar situation.

Why scenario-based practice?

Digital workplace competence involves judgement as well as software knowledge. Knowing how to create a folder does not explain how a shared folder should be structured. Knowing how to send a message does not explain which context should be included or where a decision should be recorded.

Scenario-based activities make those decisions visible. They give learners a manageable environment for trying an approach, reviewing the result and repeating the method in a slightly different context.

Individual activities generally take around 20–45 minutes. More integrated exercises may take longer and can be divided across sessions.
